Dear Alumni,

Alumni engagement and the creation of a culture of giving: at many independent schools, that concept is developed way before graduation day. Generally, things as simple as a “senior gift’ request, or a meeting between seniors and the Advancement team to talk about the importance of alumni giving, is commonplace. In some ways, that has happened at Antilles – and, in some ways, it hasn’t. Over the past year, as I’ve continued to meet all of you, I’ve seen the need for Antilles to keep reaching out – and through our visits, events, and emails, we hope to bring all of you back in and to keep you for a lifetime.

But I hope that you, too, are starting to understand how much we need you in return. Antilles is developing fast and with a new strategic plan in the making, your support is critical. Over the past few weeks, a new Annual Fund video appeal has shown you how much the campus has grown over the past decade but if we want to keep up the pace, we need to have every member of our school community – that includes you -- involved.

You are the keepers of our traditions and our community values, and your support is a reflection of not only your love for Antilles, but a measure of its excellence. So, as we keep reaching out – and we will – I encourage you to think of what Antilles means to you, and why you should stay connected.

I look forward to our continued interactions!
