For over 60 years, Antilles School, a member of NAIS, has provided a private, college preparatory, coeducational experience for the children of St. Thomas, St. John, and Water Island. Antilles is a comprehensive school for children from toddlers (age 2) through grade 12; our graduates have gone on to succeed in the finest universities and graduate schools in the world.
Excellence, Diversity and Community are the guiding principles for each day at Antilles. We pride ourselves on inspiring each student to reach his/her potential in a multicultural setting that is one of the hallmarks of our school. Antilles is a small community that seems very much like family to our students and parents! With over 100 faculty and support staff members for our 500 students, Antilles combines educational excellence and character development to transform our students into young men and women of the highest character. During a student’s years at Antilles, each of our students receives individual guidance from an advisor who serves as a mentor and guide to success.
At Antilles, we pride ourselves on our small class sizes that allow our teachers to provide a personalized education for each student. Our goal is to ensure each student receives cutting-edge instruction in a safe, nurturing environment. Antilles teachers deliver lessons that encourage “active learning” through hands-on, engaging instructional strategies designed to develop a love of learning in each student! We celebrate each child at Antilles every day—the joy of learning comes alive on our beautiful 27 acre campus in the Frenchman’s Bay area. Antilles develops the “whole child” through challenging academic courses, technology, music, art, physical education, and athletics.
Antilles occupies a distinct place in Caribbean culture and the history of the larger Virgin Islands community. Through a superb preparatory education which includes the finest college counseling and preparation in the Virgin Islands, we offer a true “Antilles Advantage” that can give your child(ren) the edge they need to compete and succeed in the demanding 21st century collegiate setting!
