RE: Participation in the St. Thomas Children’s Carnival Parade 2017, Friday, April 28th
From: Verna Araujo, Music Teacher, Antilles School

We are excited to participate in the 2017 Children’s Carnival Parade, which is scheduled for Friday, April 28th.

We are hoping to fill the parade route with as many students as we can! Once you’ve read the details below, please indicate whether your child(ren) will be participating with us.

“Proud of Our Past, Prepared for our Future,” is the theme of our troupe. Our presentation aims to reflect our strong cultural heritage that has survived these 100 years! The troupe will be split into sections of culture bearers, quadrille dancers and Bamboula dancers, and will also include a t‐shirt section and our Hurricanes’ steel pan orchestra, led by renowned instructor Georgia Francis.

We look forward to you allowing your child(ren) to participate in this very rewarding cultural experience!
