International Thespian Induction Ceremony

"Members of International Thespian Society get to be part of something special. We have the opportunity to entertain, to convey a message, to reveal a character's truth," said Mansi Totwani '18, the co-president of the ITS Troupe, which inducted eight new members this week.

New members are Margaret McConnell '21, Eesha Ved '21, Finn Sharpless '21, Payton Prewitt '20, Milan Sakharani '20, Sameer Mohanani '19, Grace Randall '19, and Aliya St. John '19. The Troupe also inducted three faculty honorees: Karen Bertrand, John Riggle and Justin Wilson.

Troupe members not only have a great love for the theatre arts, but have worked to transform Antilles' program with innovative productions and creative sets. Congratulations to our new inductees!

Alumni Luncheon and Panel Discussion

Alumni returned to campus this week to share their college experiences with Antilles seniors and juniors. During an Alumni Panel Discussion in Prior Jollek Hall, the group spoke about everything from basics of dorm life to tips on acclimating to life off-island. A live stream of the event on social media also gave our older alumni the chance offer guidance on life post-college.

Thank you to Michael Caracciolo '17, Pooja Chainani '17, Victoria Hiebert '17, Roshni Lalwani '17, Simran Totwani '17, Paige Clarke '16, Eli James '16, Camren Bunn '16, Louisa Fredey '14, Priyanka Gondalia '14, and LaVelle King '04 for participating and helping to keep this tradition alive!

Spelling Bee!

Priya Giyanani '24 will be representing Antilles at next month's St. Thomas-St. John District Spelling Bee. Priya was the winner of Thursday's school bee and faced heavy competition from class reps from the fourth through eighth grades. The runner up this year was Nitya Mirchandani '24.

Congratulations also goes out to all of our class participants: Taylor Roy '26, JR Oriol '25, Saba Gever '25, Alexis Bared-Smith '23, Skylar Pruss '23, Jada Joseph '22, and Lucy Sutfin '22.

And a special shout-out to Alexis Bared-Smith for keeping us entertained throughout the competition!
