Our enrollment has fluctuated between 325 and 475 in recent years.  Our enrollment at the start of the 2023-2024 school year was 440. 

The ideal time to get the process started is between December and January for an August enrollment. However, we accept applications on a space available basis throughout the year. Contact us to find out about space availability.

Our classes range from approximately 12 -20 students, depending on the grade level.

If a class is at full capacity, we cannot admit a new student to that class. We do encourage you to go through the admission process to possibly be placed in the wait pool. You would be notified if a space becomes available during the year or be ready for consideration the following year.

Yes, in the Upper School we have:

Honors classes: American Literature, British Literature, English IV, Spanish III, Geometry, Algebra II, PreCalculus, Chemistry, Portfolio, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Applied Music Studies, and Production Ensemble

AP classes:  Literature & Composition, Spanish Language & Culture, Calculus, Statistics, US History, US Government & Politics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Environmental Science, Biology, Physics 1 & 2, and Music Theory

Our formal college counseling program begins in the spring of junior year in which the Director of College Counseling begins meeting with the junior class and their families.  In the second semester of junior year, College Workshop courses commence and continue through the first semester of senior year.  The Director of College Counseling holds individual meetings with seniors and their parents to provide guidance from the college application through the acceptance process.

Our Toddler Program is a one-year experience for children who turn two on or before September 1 of that school year.  When we have space available, we can accept younger children with the understanding that they will be in the program for two school years.  Admission and enrollment all depends on the child, the children already in the class, and the time of year.  To consider a toddler application for the current school year, the child needs to turn two during the school year.  The reasons include safety and our licensing. 

Children must be 3 years old for PreKindergarten program and 5 years old for Kindergarten on or before September 1. 

Children must be potty-trained to join the PreK classrooms.

Our campus opens at 7:30 AM for student arrival. Our hours are as follows:

• Early Learning Center 8:00 - 2:45
• Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School  8:00 - 3:00

The Department of Education provides morning pick-up and after-school drop-off for Antilles School students during the school year.  In the morning, the bus picks up students from Sib’s Restaurant parking lot on the north side of the island, and in the afternoon, it drops off students at Havensite, Yacht Haven Grand, Boy Scout Building on Beltjen Road, and Emancipation Garden. Bus service is not available for students who participate in After School activities. 

Bus transportation follows the Department of Education’s public school calendar and is not available when the public schools are closed. Parents must complete the registration form for bus transportation for each child.

For Toddlers - Grade 5, the Extended Day Program runs Monday through Friday from 3:00-5:30, excluding holidays and school closures. The program provides a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for students with working parents. There is a charge of $25 per day that will be billed weekly.  

For Grades 6 - 12 an after-school study hall is available Monday through Friday from 3:00-5:30 at no charge.

Children's Place Reminder

• Only school bottoms in the uniform shop from Children's Place are allowed.
• This does not include anything listed as active, jogger basketball, or terry.

Antilles does not provide lunch and we do not have a cafeteria. Students eat inside their classrooms or outside at tables in their designated areas. Students can bring their own snacks and lunch to enjoy.  Children can purchase lunch from our Rev It Up Nutrition Menu.  For students in the Lower School, lunch is delivered to the classroom. Students in the Middle and Upper School can collect their lunch purchases in the Prior Jollek Hall Courtyard space.
 

There is no supply fee for the Toddler Program through Kindergarten.  All classroom materials for Grades 1 - 5 are ordered for the class, and families are billed $50. 

In Grades 6-12 textbooks are ordered online through Follett and a suggested supply list is provided at the end of every school year for families to purchase on their own.
