BRIGHT VI Scholarship

New BRIGHT VI Scholarship Announced for 2025-2026

Antilles School is proud to announce the launch of a transformative new scholarship initiative in partnership with BRIGHT VI, beginning in the 2025–2026 academic year. This program will offer two full scholarships each year to exceptionally talented students who have demonstrated financial need and who show strong interest and aptitude in math.

The BRIGHT VI Scholarship Program is designed to empower students with high mathematical potential to access an Antilles School education, serving as a stepping stone to careers that require advanced quantitative skills, including Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, and Accounting.

SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY

To be considered for the BRIGHT VI Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

✅ The student was enrolled in the U.S. Virgin Islands public school system for the 2024–2025 school year.
✅ The student will be entering Grade 7, 8, or 9 in the 2025–2026 academic year.
✅ The student has scored in the above-average range in all math classes and programs.  
✅ The student has demonstrated a strong interest in pursuing a math-intensive career path, such as engineering, math, physics, finance, or accounting.
✅ The student has completed the Antilles School admission process by submitting an application, including all required application materials. 
✅ The student demonstrates a very high aptitude in math, as reflected in exceptional test scores through the visit and assessment portion of the Antilles School admission process.
✅ The student’s family has demonstrated financial need through the completion of the Antilles School Financial Grant and Aid application. 

Additional Considerations

✅ The student has participated successfully in the Math Academy for Promising Scholars (MAPS) program for 2+ years.
✅ All application materials must be submitted by July 1.
