Tracing the Journey of Antilles

From our founding in 1950 with a bold vision for education in the Virgin Islands, Antilles School has been shaped by the people and moments that define its spirit. Founding families, pioneering faculty, and generations of students came together to create more than a school—they built a community.

Over the decades, Antilles has grown through the leadership of dedicated heads of school, the generosity of families and partners, and the resilience of a community that has weathered challenges and celebrated triumphs together. From moving onto the Frenchman’s Bay campus, to launching new programs in the arts, athletics, and technology, to the achievements of alumni across the globe, each chapter of our story reflects a commitment to learning, growth, and belonging.

As we celebrate our 75th Anniversary, we honor the visionaries who built our foundation and the generations who carried it forward. And we look with excitement to the next 75 years of purpose and possibilities.

This timeline is still under construction—more stories, photos, and milestones will be added soon!

As we celebrate 75 years of Antilles, we’re taking time to honor the people whose stories have become part of the school’s fabric — families, alumni, faculty, and friends who’ve helped capture what makes our school so special.

We want to hear from you! As part of our “75 Stories for 75 Years” project, we’re collecting short reflections, memories, and stories from alumni across generations.
